From a man after Gods own heart
Dear Churchites, Remember Super Summer? How awesome it was? How God wrecked lives and changed our mindsets. for a moment maybe? Its funny how God places us in our every day routine lives and then we forget he's there. But then we trip'n fall, and realize that we rely on him after all or he shows us something small and we see it and see him again, in his glory. How many times do I find myself blink and realize Im not being the best follower, but How many times does it take for me to realize I rely on him. Heres the thing that catch's my thoughts so quickly, God waits for us, to turn around and look to him again. Who am I to make my creator wait for me! but thats how much Jesus loves us, he loves me to much to say "ohh your just a hopeless case". He will never leave my side and never give up on me. Its good to know that no matter what I do, Jesus still stands by me, and lifts me up again.

A Worn Path
I Find myself again doing what i normally do on a thursday, around noon. Sitting in Starbucks reading stories of auld lang syne, (Times long past). Today: A Worn Path, a story about a old black woman walking down a worn path, a familiar path to her. One point in the story struck a cord though. She met a hunter along the way and he dropped a nickel, she picked it up and noticed a bird fly above and said "God watching me the whole time. I come to stealing." It just reminded me of a simple message, the message of God is always watching us, but more than that, he is always with us. Yes, she made a mistake, who doesn't? but what does she do with it? Later on in the story, she is given another nickel because its christmas time, and she decides to go buy a toy for an impoverished and sick boy, knowing it just might bring a smile to his face. If God can use a sinner to work in holy and righteous ways, how much more can he use someone who longs for his heart to do his work? In this story, she walked that path continually, maybe in the process she just got used to it? Maybe she forgot the reason she walked it, the motivation behind it all. It happens to the best of us, so today I know my walk will be different, but my destination will remain the same.
